Standard Agency Opened in Salafchegan Special Economic Zone

Qom’s Industrial Investigations and Standard Administration Agency was opened in Salafchegan Special Economic Zone on Saturday Ordibehesht first, 1389 with attendance of Iran’s Standard Organization’s manager and other province’s authorities. In opening ceremony Nezamodin Barzegari, the head of Industrial Investigations and Standard Organization, declared,’ Standard Administration’s policy is to establish different laboratories in all over Iran in New Year. Private sector has priority.’

He added,’ each zone with active exporting and producing has active laboratories, too. For places with high credits, we use governmental sectors’ credits and standard laboratories.’

He continued,’ all graduates of engineering and science degree can help standard organization as unions and with establishing standard laboratories can profit by 8-12 percent interest.’  Barzegari stated,’ establishing standard laboratories is absolutely significant in important economic zones.’

There was a meeting in that ceremony with the presence of the manager of Standard Organization, special zone’s managing director, and Salafchegan Special Economic Zone’s investors. The meeting was held in the zone’s congress hall. The head of standard listened to investors’ viewpoint and difficulties and answered them. He declared,’ stopping immethodical importing is not the best solution. We should produce home-made goods with high qualities so that each Iranian person can use them proudly. We should change the culture. Foreign goods do not have higher quality. Sometimes Iran’s standards are even more exact than foreign countries’ standards.

Mr. Kamkar, Salafchegan Special Economic Zone’s managing director, welcomed Iran’s Standard Organization’s manager and other guests. He confirmed that opening standard agency in this zone has resulted from continuously great effort of authorities. So it is the zone’s strong point and can increase exporting and producing. He asked for completion and preparation of this unit so that they can service clients as soon as possible.

Engineer Farshad Khoshnevisan, Qom’s general director of Standard and Industrial Investigations, stated,’ the project of Standard Agency in Salafchegan Special Economic Zone was regulations of the second period of the President’s province’s trips. It has been established in a region with an area of 200 square meters and cost 7 billion Rials. He declared,’ the security of appliances and also measuring consumption energy of equipment which necessarily need energy tag, will be investigated.
