The foundation activities of Salafchegan Special Economic
Zone's railway connection to trans-rail way have been
started.
Last
day the incipience of foundation activities of Salafchegan
Special
Economic Zone's rail way connection was picked with the
presence of the governor general and some provincial and
civil authorities.
Qom's governor
general announced there are potential talents in Salafchegan
Special Economic Zone and this zone can be Qom's motive
economic engine. Doctor Mohammad Nazemi Ardakani added
nowadays we can see investing development, the growth of
investment applicants shows that we should provide necessary
substructures to attract the investors quickly.
He
indicated that substructures have been made within
regulations limit and we are planning to complete it because
of the zone importance. He said that one of the zone's
necessary substructures is water provision which is
considered as proper credits and we hope to exploit the
project of irrigation transfer to the zone with assistance
of Special Zone and governor general authorities. Qom's
governor general continued that one of the other necessary
substructures is gas transferring. Fortunately because of
authorities' effort, there is no problem in gas
transferring, and laying-pipe phases have been finished and
it would be exploited by producer units after setting the
standards up. Nazemi Ardakani declared the project of
connecting Salafchegan Special Economic Zone to trans-rail
way had had some official obstacles between Ministry of
Roads and Transportation and Qom's governor general for
several years; however, last year it was appointed to start
the project from the excess of province income and in future
would achieve to a desirable result. Now, today we are
picking the project. The project sub structure is given to
Islamic Republic Housing Foundation
because
of their suitable facilities. Qom's governor general
believes that construction of an airline between Qom and
Salafchegan Special Economic Zone is necessary. He added
that they took the Ministry of Roads and Transportation's
permission and this year they contemplate some credits for
researches. They hope to construct the airline as soon as
possible with related authorities' effort. The director of
Salafchegan Special Economic Zone stated that Salafchegan
Special Economic Zone's connection to trans-rail way is one
the basic sub structural needs for zone's economic active
people and it was a suitable opportunity for local and
foreigner investors' entrance.
Finally
after a several-year effort, it was approved in the first
government board's trip to Qom. With the effort of governor
general an representatives of Qom's people in Islamic
Consultative Assembly and other authorities as well as
cooperation of authorities of Ministry of Roads and
Transportation and Islamic Republic Rail Way, today we are
observing the beginning of substructure activities of
Salafchegan Special Economic Zone's connection to
trans-railway. Engineer Abadollah Kamkar added the distance
of Salafchegan Special Economic Zone to trans-railway is 8.5
kilometers, which had started with the amount of 1600000000
Rials and the rest of the expenses is provided by province
authorities. He continued that the total foreseen
expenditure of the project is about 3 billion and 900
million Tumans. The performance of the project is left to
Islamic Republic Housing Foundation of Qom. Kamkar mentioned
according to mutual agreement, it is appointed that the
substructure of railway would be fulfilled by province and
under the Railway control. Substructure activities and
track-laying should be done by Islamic Republic of Iran's
Railway. The director of Salafchegan Special Economic Zone
said that in today's world, business development will be
unperfected if they don't consider transportation, and rail
transportation is a motive economic factor for each country.
Salafchegan Special Economic Zone's connection to
trans-railway decreases transportation expenses and
increases production in factories and industries. Also
investor's tendency will increase because the zone is near
to producing and consumption centers and located in north to
south and east to west. Kamkar added construction of some
substructures such as gas and water supply are being
completed and will be exploited very soon. He declared the
total zone's area is 2000 hectare. The zone is designated
into three phases. The greatest part of phases 1and 2, which
are 528 hectare, are given to investors and the rest of the
area are available for executive activities. Amery , the
director of Arak railway, told our reporter that Qom
province is responsible for substructure activities of the
railway and Islamic Republic of Iran's Railway is in charge
of super structure activities and track-laying. Ameri added
the maximum time of fulfilling the substructure is 12 months
in case of credit secure and the nonexistence of problems
and track-laying will take 6 months.
